"The Marshall Plan for Talent will ensure Michigan can compete in the race for the best talent with the in-demand skills employers need while enhancing our educational system to better prepare all Michiganders to become lifelong learners.

"I look forward to working with the House to build on today's momentum."

Roger Curtis: "As technology rapidly changes the workplace, Michigan must continue to adapt and enhance the way it builds a talent pool ready to fill the careers of today and the future. The Marshall Plan for Talent is the catalyst for that change.

"I applaud the bipartisan leadership shown today in the state Senate with the passing of SBs 941-942. This forward-looking action will ensure Michigan can become the top state for education and talent development."
